Today I started by exhaling. Went to sleep last night exhausted from a busy schedule which involved traffic – hate traffic. I was wired, hyped up and exhausted from continuous work activity. πππ
Pushing on my weekend health and exercise programs and then into Monday morning work, my mind and body was on mph- maximum push per hourποΈββοΈπ΄ββοΈπ§ββοΈπ²π»ππββοΈ
Love getting back in the ‘life saddle’ and driver’s seat, but its easy to press that pedal too hard, too fast, too soon. ππ¨
When I exhaled releasing that breath of air from deep within, it was quite refreshing. The body got to release tension and whatever was holding onto in my opinionπ€. According to Google, “Expiration aka exhalation is the process of letting air out of the lungs during the breathing cycle.” The carbon dioxide that comes out of the body can damage tissues and body organs and cause respiratory problems. So too, holding on to things whether bad or even good for longer than needed. Forgot to go to bed light, and kept brain working, thus my quick fix was exhaling first thing in the morning – start the day without baggage.πππ‘β
Every person gets to control the way they balance work and life activities and its a personal situational thing decided based on values and circumstances. Enjoy your work, love what you do, but learn to set it aside, for rest, relaxation and family time. ππ§ββοΈπββοΈπ¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦
Take time to make changes, laugh, smile, and engage with others. Pause and enjoy the moment. Breathe in and exhale whatever is being held, because you control your work/life – make it balance.β³πβ
