Challenge Face Off – 4/6 Push Through

How do you manage your challenges? When doubt and uncertainty step into your day, or decision making, do you ‘throw in the towel’ and give in to the onslaught of hurdles to sort through or do you stare it in the face and keep moving forward? Even when it becomes painful working through challenges, will you give in, or will you become more determined to finish and complete your task or journey?
For me, the hardest part of taking on any challenge in my healthy lifestyle journey is keeping focused on the mission. The goal is constant and I must move towards it within the timeline set – unless otherwise decided. Every single test elevates me to a different level, and every level mastered, moves me from average or mediocre. I don’t want to be “aver-ocre” – that’s my word for average and mediocre.
When you push through and endure the temporary burn when exercising, something miraculous happens – you get stronger, and your capacity grows – this is what happens when I do it! Most times starting is riddled with doubt and uncertainty, just like starting a business. However, if you persevere, success is waiting at the end.
Giving up is never an option when I start exercising, because not working through the pain is like a self-inflicted wound which will hold me back – that’s not cool at all!
One of the many things I like about the program I’m in with http://www.dextersimon.com is the way I’m encouraged to challenge myself. Its all about me, and I get to be selfish every time I step up and push through. I’m improving the best version of myself constantly, and therefore I’m always winning!
It’s time to accept a challenge of taking care of you – get ready!
